Her work and research in teacher resilience has been adopted by educators and schools nationwide and can most recently be seen in her book Joy in Teaching: A Research-Based Framework of Action for Educators. Dr. Carr’s goal is to help make education an attractive profession wherein educators feel supported and heard. She continues to work toward this goal by inspiring educators to reclaim their joy through resilience building strategies and practices.

Can I earn professional development credit for this course?
The short answer is No. This is because each district has their own requirements that they accept for PD credit we are not able to issue a universal credit. We do issue a certificate of completion at the end of the course, after completing all 11 modules. This certificate represents 40 hours of work completed, in reference to the hours of time, not credit hours earned. Although this certificate does NOT guarantee​ that you will be granted credit by your school or district, you are free to submit it for their approval.
