Welcome to 5 Days to Fight Teacher Burnout

As someone who has lived the stress of a teacher's life, who has looked over the ledge of teacher burnout and not liked what I saw, I understand the need to build resilience and gain strategies to reclaim the joy in teaching.


The main thing that helped me to build resilience in the face of teacher stress was research. And partly because I enjoy it – I definitely developed a more analytical eye toward problems while earning my Ph.D. in teaching and learning. But also because I was able to pick and choose what strategies worked for me. And gaining these strategies and understanding what it takes to really thrive in today's world of education is what inspired me to start Joy in Teaching. 


I developed the 5 Days to Fight Teacher Burnout Course because I know that time is your most valuable asset. This series of resilience research, quick burnout-fighting strategies, inspiration, tips, and calls to action are an easy-peasy way of gifting yourself the quick boost you need to face the school day with a renewed sense of strength.
